Food Quality and Shelf-life Testing

  • Shelf-life studies on fresh foods including fresh produce, meat substitutes, indoor and outdoor grown produce, seed variety trialing in development stages, seaweeds, etc.
  • Ability to repack, cut, wash and dry and package into various formats, with gas flush options. Includes pouches, bag packing with gas flush and lidded tray gas flushing as well. We can also process small quantities for pilot studies, attempting to recreate a realistic production process (we abuse it on purpose!)
  • We have various equipment and have developed an easy to understand scoring system along with the backup data to ensure the science is done correctly but can also easily be understood and applied. Equipment includes O2/CO2/ethylene analysis, colorimetry, chlorophyll content, pH, Brix, water activity, pressure, etc.
